Oil States Piper Valve is currently looking for qualified candidates for the position of

WAREHOUSE TECHNICIAN OKLAHOMA CITY, OK

In our organization, the Warehouse Technician has a critical and challenging role in helping achieve innovation and meeting our commitments. The Warehouse Technician pulls orders according to documented pick lists and stages them for the next step in the manufacturing process while following approved guidelines while helping to maintain inventory accuracy, production schedules, and work area cleanliness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Safely pull all necessary parts from the Warehouse to assemble the order as documented on the pick list.
• Stage pulled orders with all necessary parts in preparation for the next stage of the assembly process.
• Safely stock parts as directed by the Inventory Supervisor according to documented part number and bin location.
• Safely and efficiently operate stand-up fork lift to perform duties such as stocking, pulling, and moving palletized components with in the OSPV facility.
• Provide appropriate information for the inventory tracking system as necessary to maintain inventory accuracy.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:
• Support the maintenance of shop equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Effectively and efficiently use time to safely perform duties.
• Complete all paperwork in required manner and time frame.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn new processes and embrace and support change.
• Follow and support established HSE programs.
• Operate shop equipment in approved manner.
• All other duties and tasks as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
• Ability to identify part numbers and safely stock shelves.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects on a daily basis in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to establish and maintain constructive working relationships with people.
• Working knowledge of computer software packages such as MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Ability to speak, write and read the English language.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team on a broad variety of projects.
• Willingness to work additional hours in order to meet tight deadlines.

Qualification Requirements:
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least one year shop experience, preferably in a fast pace manufacturing environment.
• Must obtain and maintain active Level 2 OSPV certification to operate a stand-up fork lift.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Able to climb stairs.
• Constant lifting, kneeling, bending, walking and/or standing.
